Bathroom Break

When tearing apart one of the bathrooms in Gibson St. I ran across
some unsavory finds–mainly used needles. So when I made a discovery
here at 55-1/2 I am somewhat pleased–it is only a small roach motel.
The death toll is currently standing at 2.

We’ve got three such bushes in the front. Two flank a huge cactus.
Kinda silly if you ask me. Then again, they both have stickers.

The Book Annex

Well, we haven’t moved in yet, but our books have. Built-ins are
pretty sweet by the way.

The plumbers are coming Monday to do some work–and by do some work I
mean replace everything. THEN the fun stuff starts!

Our beautiful niece was born this morning weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and 20.5″ long.  Mom, Dad, Baby and Big Sis are all doing well. One thing is for sure: those Hortons make some pretty nice looking newborns.

ME with her Big Sister Flowers sent all the way from Austin, Texas. Everything’s bigger in Texas, including sisters.

Sunday, that’s my Funday!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. I’m having a super great one. I’ve been doing some mild packing, made a badass pizza and decided to scan these cute little picks while it got all bubbly.

This morning I went to Central Market to do some grocery shopping. Loading the bags into the back of Walker I realized it’s November 15th, I’m buying winter squashes and apple cider…while wearing cut-off shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops. I love you Texas.

You might not have smilar weather in your neck of the woods.  My suggestion?  Come visit us!  (In the mean time, I find Stevie Wonder to do the trick on cold days).
